I used to cringe every time I would pass a Lush Store at the mall because of its strong scent but that all changed mid 2009. After watching a few videos on Youtube I got curious and decided to forget about the headaches I would get whenever a Lush store was near by. I went in and became a Lush follower.
These are the things I tried, liked and didn't like:
Let's start with the soaps.
1. Demon in the Dark - Minty and very refreshing; it doesn't lather very much but you can smell how good it is; always looked forward to using this soap; a fave
2. Bohemian - lemony scent is very faint; nothing special for me; will not repurchase
3. Honey I Washed the Kids - Sweet and very tempting to eat :); I liked it so much I bought the solid perfume; a must buy
4. Sandstone - felt like sand paper; too painful to use on the body; I use it on the soles of my feet; hardly use it; will not repurchase
5.Porridge - Sweet but has too many oats that doesn't help exfoliate; smells great though; the only thing I don't like about it is it makes the shower floor difficult to clean because of all the oats; thinking of repurchasing
6. Miranda- an okay scent; nothing overly scented; lathers quite nicely
Shampoo / Conditioner
1. Big - another great smelling product; thoroughly cleans your hair of residue build up but my hair felt coarse and dry after; felt clean though; don't think I will repurchase
2. Retread - smells lemony and felt like it really moisturized my hair; definitely made my hair straighter and more manageable; controlled the frizz; can't buy now because of my curly hair; had to remind myself not to use up a whole handful every time
Mask - Mask of Magnaminty - very minty and has a tingly feeling once applied; stings when applied near the eye area; very soothing; thinking of repurchasing
I just don't understand why Lush Philippines is not promoting the returning of Lush containers/black tubs for a discount like they do in the U.S.
Are you a Lush fan?
Thanks for reading. See you next time!
